Dr. Gina Maria Jansheski is a licensed, board-certified pediatrician who has practiced general pediatrics for 22 years.
After medical school and residency at the University of Arizona, she did a fellowship in evaluating children with genetic and neurodevelopmental conditions, autism spectrum disorders, and survivors of child abuse. She then became a pediatric hospitalist and medical director of the Tucson Pediatric Hospitalists. Dr. Jansheski also founded a child abuse review team and Tucson Lifeline for Children (TLC), the first pediatric palliative care program in her area.
In her last years of practice and while working in the outpatient setting, Dr. Jansheski transitioned to a more volunteer-based lifestyle, serving in Rishikesh, India. She has also worked in migrant and refugee clinics, learning more about medical and child-rearing practices in other cultures.
