This section applies to residents of Argentina and is provided pursuant to the Ley de Protección de Datos Personales No. 25,326 (PDPA). A comprehensive reform of Argentine data protection law is in progress; this section will be updated when that reform is enacted.
Access — request confirmation that we process your personal data and obtain a copy of it, free of charge once every six months.
Correction — request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal data.
Deletion — request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or where processing does not comply with the PDPA, subject to legal exceptions.
Objection — object to the processing of your personal data for legitimate reasons, including for direct marketing purposes.
Withdrawal of Consent — withdraw consent to our processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing but may affect our ability to provide trial matching services.
Health information is sensitive personal data under Argentine law and requires your explicit consent before we collect or process it.
HealthMatch United States, Inc., 33 Arch Street, Boston, MA 02110, USA (HM US) is the controller. It collects your data, including health data, directly from you, stores it in the United States and uses it to match you with clinical trials and communicate with you about them. Providing your data is voluntary; without it we cannot match you.
HM US's processor, HealthMatch Pty Ltd, accesses your data from Australia to operate and support the platform. Neither the United States nor Australia is recognised under Argentine law as providing adequate protection; the transfer is made on the express consent you give at sign-up, which you may withdraw at any time with prospective effect.
Your data may be shared with the sites, sponsors and CROs of trials you agree to be referred to, and with service providers supporting the platform.
